Cranemaster™ is the registered trademark for products developed and supplied by Ernst-B. Johansen A.S. Cranemaster units are world leading passive heave compensator and shock absorber systems for subsea installations and transfer lifts. They are rugged self contained hydraulic/pneumatic units charged with an internal gas pressure and oil volume. There is no need for an external power supply. Cranemaster reduces the impacts on offshore cranes and the load being lifted, by reducing the dynamic forces in the hoist wire.
Today, whenever and wherever an offshore lift requires special consideration, we at Ernst-B. Johansen AS can provide certified Cranemasters ranging from Safe Working Load 25 to 400 tonnes. The Cranemaster unit is capable of handling loads from 1 to 400 tons or more depending on the configuration of the units. We have rental Cranemasters ready for immideate dispatch via air, sea or land from our stock in Norway or from one of our global representatives.
