Cranemaster has a dedicated team of engineers at MSc and PhD level to conduct lift analysis.
We carry out lift analysis of all lifting phases, including lifts in air, splash zone, subsea lowering and landing. Our aim is to give our clients a clear view of movements, velocities, and forces in crane/winch and load for different wave conditions.
Our analysis is based on existing industry codes, typically DNV RP-H103 and similar. We carry out analysis according to "simplified method" as well as advanced time-domain analysis using Orcaflex and/or own developed software.
Cranemaster engineers also frequently make a review of analysis carried out by third party or client, with particular focus on modeling and setup of Cranemaster in all lifting phases.
